A nanoemulsion is simply an ultra-fine oil droplet in an aqueous phase. Liposomes offer greater control over drug release, better penetration, and the ability to encapsulate active ingredients in two layers.
On the contrary, they generally improve them. Well-formulated liposomes provide a lighter, more refined texture. Active ingredients with a strong odor or heavy texture are masked within the vesicle.
