Exosomes

It isn't one more ingredientIt's a conversation between cells

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that carry proteins, lipids and RNA. They are the messaging system of living things, the way one cell tells another how to behave. In cosmetics, that same signal can steer the skin towards its best version.

The limit

Traditional actives drive a result from the outside

  • They provide materials, but not instructions
  • The skin responds only as far as its own signal reaches
  • The effect stalls when the message that drives it is missing

The leap

Exosomes speak the language of the cell

  • They carry biological signals, not just substances
  • They support the skin's natural renewal processes
  • Targeted communication, on the scale determined by the skin

Mechanism of action

From one cell to another, step by step.

Step 01

Release

The stem cell releases the exosome, a nanovesicle loaded with growth factors, lipids, and genetic material. The biological message is already on its way.

Step 02

Transit

Due to its natural size (30, 150 nm), it crosses the skin's barriers, protecting its payload from enzymatic degradation until it reaches its destination.

Step 03

Reconocimiento

The target cell recognizes the exosome membrane as its own. Biomimetic lipid composition; no rejection; no forced entry.

Step 04

Fusion

The membranes fuse. The exosome delivers its contents directly into the cell, without the need for additional transport.

Step 05

Reprogramming

Signal molecules activate fibroblasts. The recipient cell initiates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, and the result is visible on the skin.

01 · Nanometric scale

The size of a message, not a brick

Vesicles within the natural size range of exosomes, small enough to move within the cellular environment and deliver their signal to the appropriate location.

02 · Biological cargo

They carry instructions, not just materials

Inside it carries proteins, lipids and RNA: the vocabulary cells use to understand each other.

04 · Biocompatibilidad

The skin recognizes them as its own

Natural vesicle structure: The body is designed to receive these types of messengers, not to block them.

On the skin

Where the signal becomes a formula

Four areas where exosome signaling redefines what a formula can convey to the skin.

  • Pro-renewal signals

    Regeneration

It supports the skin's natural renewal processes, providing the signals that guide its recovery day after day

  • Cell communication

    Advanced anti-aging

It stimulates cellular activity to improve the firmness and quality of mature skin, going beyond surface hydration

  • Barrier support

    Barrier repair

Designed for sensitive or healing skin, where the right formula makes all the difference in comfort and resilience

  • Tone renewal

    Luminosidad

It stimulates the mechanisms that restore evenness and vitality to the skin's tone, working in harmony with the skin's own natural processes

Before you commit

Try it in your own formula

Exosomas comes in several variants, and the right one depends on your active ingredient, your pH and your process. Tell us what you are formulating and our technical team will work out which one fits, send you the data sheet or give you a call, before you spend a single hour in the lab.

Frequently asked questions

It is an extracellular vesicle: a natural nanocapsule that cells use to communicate with one another. It transports proteins, lipids, and genetic material such as RNA, the language through which a tissue coordinates its behavior.

We work with plant-derived exosomes: a sustainable and biocompatible approach to cosmetics, free from the technical and regulatory limitations of animal- or human-derived sources.

A liposome is a vehicle that you load with an active ingredient. An exosome, on the other hand, is already, in and of itself, a biological messenger: its value lies in the signals it naturally carries, not just in encapsulating a substance.

Yes, taking into account the stability and compatibility considerations specific to a biological material. Our technical team evaluates the feasibility of each case before beginning development.
