Step 01
An exosome is a messenger nanovesicle: the cell releases it loaded with signaling factors, lipids, and genetic material. It is a packaged biological instruction.
Step 02
When applied to the scalp, the vesicles migrate through the skin barrier toward their destination: the follicle, where each hair is born.
Step 03
Because of its nanoscale size (30, 150 nm), it passes through the follicular canal and reaches the bulb intact, where the dermal papilla cells are located.
Step 04
The membranes fuse with the cells of the papilla. The message is delivered directly, without forcing its way in, without any intermediate barriers.
Step 05
Signal molecules reprogram the cells. The follicle receives the signal of vitality, and that translates into the hair that will grow later.
